What Maria D brings to the table
Maria joined SDU Analytics in 2021 shortly before completing her Master’s degree in Economics. She previously worked as a Trainee at SDU Analytics (2020–2021), followed by roles as Data Analyst (2021–2025) and Team Lead (2025). As of 1 January 2026, she serves as Interim Head of Section within management information on R&D, Innovation and International Ranking.
Maria’s leadership style is present, clear, and focused on building a strong and robust team. She defines direction and creates the conditions for a diverse team to excel, recognizing that high performance emerges from combining different strengths. Working in an area that is still evolving, she is comfortable navigating changing priorities and complex agendas, while ensuring progress and maintaining a clear sense of direction.
