Infomedia is now Retriever

Please note that Retriever is designed for Danish media content and is available in Danish only, including the interface, guides, videos and other support resources.  Retriever provides access to Danish media articles and can be used both to find individual articles and to carry out more systematic searches for teaching, supervision and research projects.

Try these searches and notice how the results change as you refine your search strategy:

• Search: Klimapolitik Explanation: Finds media content containing the term climate policy.

• Search: Klima AND politik Explanation: Finds media content where both climate and policy appear somewhere in the content.

• Search: Klima* AND politik* Explanation: Finds media content containing both word stems. The truncation symbol (*) broadens the search to include variations such as climate policy, climate crisis, politician and related terms.

• Search: Klima* NEAR/5 politik* Explanation: Finds media content where words beginning with the stems climate and policy occur within five words of each other. This will often produce more relevant results than a standard AND search.

• In the example below, the search has been built using the Search Options feature in the upper-right corner of the interface. Here, you can select operators such as AND and OR, while Retriever automatically inserts them into the search field, allowing you to follow and refine your search string as you go.
