The RI Council approves the departments' local Open Science policies

SDU’s RI Council – the university’s advisory body for responsible research and innovation – has now approved all departments’ local Open Science policies. These local policies are based on SDU’s overarching Open Science Policy, which supports open and responsible management of the research process, from sharing data and methods to ensuring transparency in collaborations and publication practices.

“The approvals mark an important step in establishing a common and transparent practice for open science across SDU. With the RI Council’s endorsement, the departments are now formally equipped to work even more strategically with openness in research", says Anne Thorst Melbye, Head of the Research Documentation Department at the University Library of Southern Denmark.
