SDU course: Horizon Europe – Developing a competitive proposal

With one year remaining of Horizon Europe, the European R&I programme, this is a timely opportunity to begin planning your proposals.

This course is for you with limited or no experience in Horizon Europe (HE) collaborative projects but are willing to embark on coordinating a proposal within the next year. The course will take you through the key concepts and inner logics of a collaborative HEU project to understand how to prepare a competitive proposal. Specifically, we will focus on the steps needed to build a strong consortium and develop a comprehensive and impactful project.

You will also be able to hear from fellow researchers who have worked on HE proposals (both as partners and coordinators) and hear their experience, how they approached it and best practices.

Tentative programme:
  • The basics - what to know about HE Pillar 2 funding opportunities
  • Roles and responsibilities – Managing Expectations
  • Consortium building
  • The three sections of the proposal: Excellence, Impact and Implementation
  • What to do next
Coffee/tea and lunch will be served.

Please register before October 23rd.
