What: ODIN is a unique collaboration platform that funds and facilitates open, precompetitive research leading towards drug discovery and new diagnostics. We bring together academics, clinicians, and industry partners to co-create innovative projects that drive scientific breakthroughs. All data created within the projects is openly shared without patents, ensuring broad accessibility.
Purpose of ODIN projects: To address complex research problems inspired by unmet clinical needs.

2026 Scientific Scope Areas
- Existing: Cardiovascular diseases (CVD), Cardiometabolic diseases (CMD), Infectious diseases, Regenerative medicine, Disease-agnostic platform technologies, and research tools/methods for broader healthcare applications.
- New: Central Nervous System (CNS) disorders.

- The 2026 scientific scope and Grant Type 1 call guidelines
- How to propose precompetitive project ideas, find academic and industrial partners, and develop a strong proposal

- Participants: At least one academic applicant and one industry partner
- Project length: Up to 3 years
- Budget for each project: Up to DKK 6,5 million
- Total Funding available: Up to DKK 52 million
