Webinar ODIN 2026 Grant call introduction

 

When: Monday 13 April 2026, at 13:00 - 15:00 o`clock

 

What: ODIN is a unique collaboration platform that funds and facilitates open, precompetitive research leading towards drug discovery and new diagnostics. We bring together academics, clinicians, and industry partners to co-create innovative projects that drive scientific breakthroughs. All data created within the projects is openly shared without patents, ensuring broad accessibility.

Purpose of ODIN projects: To address complex research problems inspired by unmet clinical needs.

Deadline for posting ideas/challenges/resources: April 29, 2026

 

2026 Scientific Scope Areas

  • Existing: Cardiovascular diseases (CVD), Cardiometabolic diseases (CMD), Infectious diseases, Regenerative medicine, Disease-agnostic platform technologies, and research tools/methods for broader healthcare applications.
  • New: Central Nervous System (CNS) disorders.

 

This session will cover:

  • The 2026 scientific scope and Grant Type 1 call guidelines
  • How to propose precompetitive project ideas, find academic and industrial partners, and develop a strong proposal
  • Insights from an ODIN company partner (Karina Fog, Senior Director, Lundbeck)
  • Experiences & Key Takeaways from 2025 ODIN Grantees

 

Large Grant for new projects

  • Participants: At least one academic applicant and one industry partner
  • Project length: Up to 3 years
  • Budget for each project: Up to DKK 6,5 million
  • Total Funding available: Up to DKK 52 million
