The safety inspections are a tool to strengthen the health and safety organisation’s monitoring and control of all relevant occupational health and safety conditions and related legal requirements, so that any errors or deficiencies are detected before they may lead to accidents, illness, and/or legal violations. After the inspection, the section managers in the individual areas receive feedback, and the inspection results are also discussed in the Health and Safety Committee to determine whether there are issues relevant across the sections.
