Reception of student assistant
- You are responsible for coordinating the onboarding of each individual student assistant.
- Inform them about using mTIME for recording work hours.
- Student assistants are subject to the same occupational health and safety regulations as other employees, so they must be informed about this, referring to the relevant health and safety representative.
- Lunch breaks are NOT included in student assistants’ working hours. If a student assistant chooses to have lunch during work hours, they must deduct the lunch break from their time registration in mTIME.
- As a verifier, you must approve each student assistant’s monthly timesheet in mTIME, after which the timesheet will be authorized and forwarded for payroll processing. Please refer to the guide for verifiers and authorizers on the SDU HR service page.
Extension of student assistants
