Holidays (in addition to holidays and special holidays)
In addition to the normal public holidays, SDU is closed on Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve and Constitution Day. On the day of SDU's annual party, it closes at 12.
Freedom can be given without salary reduction for consultation with a doctor and dentist. Furthermore, blood donors can get time off without pay cut in connection with blood donation. However, donors are encouraged to use the mobile blood bank at the addresses where possible.
In addition, freedom may be granted without pay cut to the extent permitted by the service, on the following special occasions:
- on the occasion of an employee's own 25, 40 or 50th anniversary in the service of the state
- at own, at children's or at siblings' weddings
- at your own or your parents' silver, gold or diamond wedding
- connection with own relocation
- in case of serious illness, death or burial in the immediate family, ie. spouse / cohabitant, children, parents, siblings, grandparents, in-laws or children.
