Welcome to FKF
I would like to welcome you to the Department of Physics (F), Chemistry (K), and Pharmacy (F) = in everyday speech; FKF.
The department aims to be one of the best interdisciplinary institutes in Europe. We strive to break traditional academic boundaries and aim to develop new technologies and sciences across chemistry, physics, and pharmacy. We endeavor that all our employees contribute to our core tasks according to the university law: teaching, research, and dissemination, and we are happy to engage in dialogue on how this can best be achieved.
The Department of Physics, Chemistry, and Pharmacy contributes to solving global challenges and, as part of the University of Southern Denmark, aims to work with all 17 of the UN's Sustainable Development Goals. We look forward to your engagement as part of our team.
We strive to be a role model in terms of the working environment and want to be a workplace where both employees and students thrive. Therefore, it is important that from the first day of work, there is a focus on a safe working environment and well-being, both for oneself and for colleagues and students.
