SDU’s health and safety organisation follows the line management structure. At the decentralised level, the health and safety group carries out the day-to-day operational health and safety tasks and assists management and staff in the local area with specific health and safety issues.
The central level consists of the General Occupational Health and Safety Committee, which is responsible for the overall strategic tasks regarding health and safety, including planning, leading and coordinating the committee’s cooperation on health and safety at SDU. The central effort is supported by the Faculty Health and Safety Committees in the respective main areas.
The Health and Safety Organisation is put together by the General Occupational Health and Safety Committee in accordance with the principles of the local agreement, and the term of office is three years.
