User Access and Email:
Before starting, you will receive an email from SDU IT with information about your username and email, and how to create a new password. The email will be sent to your private email.
Introduction to Administration:
Within the first month after starting, you will be invited to a meeting with Mette Bach Moesgaard from the secretariat. Here, you will get a brief introduction to some of the most important systems, and you might have gathered some questions that you can get answers to.
Mandatory Online GDPR Course:
All new employees at SDU must take SDU's data protection course. It takes about two hours. It is divided into modules and is conducted online, so you don't need to complete it all at once but can split it up if you prefer. You need to sign up yourself.

SDU's Introduction Day for New Employees:
We recommend that you also participate in SDU's introduction day for new employees. It lasts 5 hours, and you will receive information about everything from SDU’s organization, the framework for Danish universities, the 6 campus cities – to how and when a salary negotiation takes place, and what you can use union representatives for. You will also go on a small tour, including the library, and have lunch in the restaurant.
