PURE

PURE is an IT system for registration of the following:

  • Research publications, activities and areas
  • Prizes and awards
  • Teaching activities
  • Press clippings
  • CV
  • Teaching Portfolio
  • External funding
  • Services to the professional community
  • Services to the academic community
  • Personel information
  • ORCID no. – see how to do it here.

The BFI lists show the publication channels (Publishers, Journals, Book Series and Conference Series) in which publication of research results are awarded points. There are two lists: the BFI list of publishers and the BFI list of series.
Find the lists here.
The lists are changed every year.

As a researcher at SDU you automatically have a PURE profile:
You are required to make sure that all your research and other activities such as the above conducted in your employment at SDU are added in PURE and you are to do the registrations yourself. You are to do your registrations regularly, but the following deadlines are important.

  • 1st quarter 15th April
  • 2nd quarter 15th July
  • 3rd quarter 15th October
  • 4th quarter 15th January

Read more about PURE here and find guides on how to register in PURE.

Please note: choose Google Chrome or Firefox as browser when working in PURE as PURE is not working correctly with Edge or Explorer.

Log in www.sdu.dk/pure.

Administrative procedure:
In order to ease the administrative procedure, please make sure that you are receiving emails from PURE. If your publication cannot be approved, you will find relevant information in Notification-field.
When your article is published, please remember to select the status “Published” in the top of the screen display – and if the article is ready to be approved, please make sure that status in the bottom of the screen is “For Approval”. If you have made any changes, don’t forget to press “save”.

Here you can see how to set-up the email notification (pdf)

New employees at SDU:
As a new researcher at SDU you have the possibility to get your previously reported publications in PURE. Find out by sending an email to the PURE support office (puresupport@bib.sdu.dk) with information of previously institution and your name.

ORCID:
We encourage all to make an ORCID id and link it to their PURE profile.
This is done in PURE under Edit person profile – find a guideline here.
The guideline also shows how you connect your ScopusID and ResearcherID with your ORCID as well as instructions on how to create a Google Scholar profile.

Questions regarding PURE can be directed to Gitte S. Klausen, gik@sam.sdu.dk or PURE office directly puresupport@bib.sdu.dk
