Printing of PhD dissertation
In regard to PhD-dissertations the faculty has so far offered to fund the printing of up to 110 copies of the dissertation at the University Press. The faculty does from 01.01.2016 not offer that anymore.
Application about getting the PhD-dissertation printed at The University Press of Southern Denmark must be send to the Head of Department.
As alternative to printing at the University Press all PhD students has the opportunity to get twenty copies for free at the university’s printing press “Print & Sign”. You can find more information about it on this link.
The PhD student are responsible for designing a front page himself and there are good instructions to find at “Print & Sign’s” website. To avoid printing of the dissertation before it is set for defense the PhD administration will, when there is a positive preliminary evaluation, let the Department know it so the PhD student can get started with the order at “Print & Sign”. Be aware that the choice of binding affects the delivery time!
