Books in general
Books always require appropriation from your research manager via e-mail.
Books can be bought at Academic Books. If you have questions about Academic Books you can contact the manager Susanne Jørgensen at:
sanne@boghandel.sdu.dk.
The books will be delivered with intern mail.
If you have found a supplier who is cheaper than Academic Books, you can order the books through the respective website. Afterwards you can contact Ulla who can pay for the purchase with the department’s Mastercard. For example you can search for the cheapest price at bogpriser.dk or bogpris.nu.
Books for educational purposes
How to buy a book for educational purposes:
1. First you must make sure if you can get a free teacher copy from the publisher. See the different publishers below.
2. If it is not possible to get a free teacher copy, you need to get your research manager’s approval.
3. When you have gotten the approval from you research manager, you can either:
- Buy the books at Academic Books. The books will be delivered with intern mail.
- If you have found a supplier who is cheaper than Academic Books, you can order the books through the respective website. Afterwards you can contact Ulla who can pay for the purchase with the department’s Mastercard. For example, you can search for the cheapest price at bogpriser.dk or bogpris.nu.
