It’s time for submitting holiday requests
Holiday requests for the next holiday year can be submitted from 1 May. You must register your holiday no later than 2 June.
Right now, the idea of taking a holiday break in autumn may seem a bit far off. Nevertheless, as of today, May 1, you can submit your holiday requests for the next holiday year, which begins on 1 September 2020 and lasts until 31 December 2021.
During that period, you must allocate 25 days of holiday, on condition that you are employed throughout the period.
On 1 September 2020, the new way of earning holiday starts. According to the new scheme, holiday is accrued on a month-by-month basis – 2.08 days per month of employment. SDU's holiday system will guide you along the way. This ensures you cannot spend more days of holiday than your full holiday entitlement.
