Information about SDU’s warehouse and logistics

Please be aware that Technical Services’ warehouse and logistics department is currently facing staffing challenges.

This means that in the coming months, we will have to prioritise and allocate resources to some tasks over others. We do our best to provide our services, but with this email, please be informed that you may experience changes in our level of service.

For example, we will only deliver internal mail once a week to Forskerparken and Odense Adelige Jomfrukloster. In addition, flowers and other items for events will not be delivered to the event location, but to the faculty/department’s mailroom, where the orderer can pick them up. There will be a longer delivery time for items ordered from the Central Warehouse (3–5 days), and longer delivery times can be expected when ordering moving boxes and copying paper. Therefore, when placing orders and notifying us of any shortages, please do so in a timely manner. If the order is urgent, pick-up can be arranged at Logistics.
Courier shipments continue to be prioritised. Please make sure your courier parcels are ready for pick-up as early in the day as possible. Read more about courier shipments and deadlines HERE.

Overall, tasks are resolved as quickly and smoothly as possible while the situation is ongoing, and we are working hard to get back to normal levels.
