Charging points

Now you can charge your electric car in Odense

At SDU in Odense, staff, students and visitors can now charge their electric or hybrid car while at the University. Four cars can be charged at a time.

Two charging points with two connectors each now enable electric car owners to charge their vehicle on campus in Odense. Six parking spaces located on the east side at the ‘Bøgene’ entrance allow drivers to recharge their EVs.
Four of the spaces are designated charging spaces, while the remaining two are waiting spaces where you can park until a charging space becomes available.

The charging points are available to everyone

Staff, students and visitors alike can recharge their cars at the new charging points. Payment is made via a mobile app solution. Simply scan a QR code, and a user-friendly guide will help you start charging your vehicle.

These are standard charging points and the price is fixed at DKK 2.40 per kWh.
Each charging point has a QR code that you must scan and then follow the instructions.

More green parking spaces in the pipeline

In addition to the new option for electric and hybrid car drivers, 33 more so-called green parking spaces are also under way.
They will be located close to entrances around the University and can be used by electric, hybrid or carpooling vehicles.
