New and improved version of SDU’s Analysis Portal on the way

With 66,000 views last year, SDU’s Analysis Portal is a popular site, and it is now being enhanced in several areas, including licence-free access for everyone at the University of Southern Denmark, replacing the previous limit of 500 licences.

At the same time, the switch to the new portal provides a more robust and secure platform with better opportunities for operational monitoring and further development for future analytics and AI solutions.

SDU Analytics manages the pages, which are packed with interesting figures and facts about rankings, enquiries regarding the university’s degree programmes, and the impact and difference that SDU graduates help to make after completing their studies.

The new version of SDU’s Analysis Portal can now be accessed via: portal.analytics.sdu.dk

On Wednesday 23 September 2026 at 1.00 pm, University Director Simon Krogh will launch the new version of SDU’s Analytics Portal at a short, informal event in O-99. Everyone is welcome.

The migration is scheduled to be completed in October

The new portal is based on a modern open-source platform from Belgium, which SDU IT and SDU Analytics have jointly tested, configured and quality-assured. This reduces dependence on commercial licences whilst enhancing flexibility for future development.

Web reports with restricted access (administrative staff lists and research insights) will be the last to be migrated in October, before the existing portal is shut down. During the final phase of the transition, some reports may be temporarily unavailable – both on the existing and the new portal.
