SDU Campuses
New campus managements in Vejle and Esbjerg
SDU will have new campus managements in Vejle and Esbjerg. This is due to the establishment of SDU Vejle and the need to get the local management functions in place. At the same time, a change of management is taking place in Esbjerg.
In Vejle, Henrik Bindslev is the interim campus dean during the construction of the University’s new campus. As previously announced, Marianne Holmer will take over the position of campus dean. This will happen on 1 August 2026. At the same time, Mikkel Baun Kjærgaard will become campus manager in Vejle.
In Esbjerg, Hanne Søndergaard Birkmose will become the new campus dean when Ole Skøtt retires this summer. At the same time, Pernille Tanggaard Andersen will become campus manager in Esbjerg. This will also happen as of 1 August 2026.
There will be no changes in Kolding and Sønderborg. The campus management in Kolding will continue to consist of Simon Møberg Torp, campus dean, and Per Vagn Freytag in Kolding, campus manager. In Sønderborg, the campus management will continue to consist of Henrik Bindslev, campus dean, and Horst-Gunter Rubahn, campus manager.
