Nina Dietz Legind appointed Acting University Director at SDU
Following the sudden death of University Director Thomas Buchvald Vind, Professor of Law Nina Dietz Legind has been appointed Acting University Director at the University of Southern Denmark.
Nina Dietz Legind has taken up the position of Acting University Director and will fulfil her duties in the coming period until a new University Director is appointed.
- I am very grateful that Nina Dietz Legind has agreed to take on this task in a difficult situation. It is crucial that we ensure calm and continuity in the university's management in the coming period, says Rector Jens Ringsmose.
Nina Dietz Legind has in-depth knowledge of the university. She has been head of department at the Department of Law twice and was vice dean for research at the Faculty of Business and Social Sciences from 2014 to 2019.
The process of finding a new University Director is now underway.
