Social Media help

The Citizen Science Knowledge Center has three social media channels that are used to expose current projects.

The aim is to create platforms where projects can share content that can then be further disseminated in different contexts. One example is the social science project Media’s role in the climate transition, which used our YouTube channel to communicate both the project's purpose and process.

When a project is communicated via social media, it becomes easier for collaborators and others involved to share the content. This was also the experience of Media's role in the climate transition, where partners such as SDU Climate Cluster and Odense Municipality could actively share and spread the message.

"It is not the knowledge centre that needs a presence, just as there is no need for a detailed strategy and goals regarding followers, reach etc. The channels are a SoMe runway for various CS projects that need to be disseminated that way," says enter records Lotte Thing Rasmussen, Citizen Science Knowledge Center.
