Consult with colleagues and Research Support Humanities as you scope your project.

Send a one-page proposal to your head of department, giving a brief outline of your project, partners and funding strategy.
Attend an initiating meeting with your head of department to discuss your workload and the project's resourcing.
Once you have your Head of Department’s go-ahead, begin work on the application, including budget, planned activities and project description. Inform Research Support Humanities and the finance team in your department:
Seek help, sparring and support throughout the planning process, from:
- Colleagues
- Research Support Humanities
- SDU RIO (Research Support, Legal Support)
- SDU Library
Ask your departmental finance team in good time to send your budget for approval by the head of department and FSØ (FSØ's approval is needed if SDU's share of the budget is over 8 million kroner). Note that FSØ can take up to five working days to approve the budget.
