Status from the administrative working group
The administrative working group continues to develop proposals for the design of the future administrative structure at SBS and SAMF.
On 28 January, the working group held another meeting with the administrative heads of the faculty administration and at the departments at the current SAMF. The focus of the meeting was the draft report to the steering committee which is in process, including a description of the current organisation at SAMF. There was agreement at the meeting that, also during the further process of establishing SBS, it makes sense to continue meeting within the group.
On Tuesday 3 February, the working group will also meet with the heads of secretariat and the administrative staff at IEB and IVL to ensure close involvement in the work on the future organisation of the administration at SBS.
Status from the academic working group
The academic working group continues to focus on developing possible models for the academic organisation and collaboration in SBS. The work is based on input from the questionnaire survey at the two departments as well as inspiration from other business schools and monodisciplinary faculties at other universities. The group is now working on describing and defining the models and design criteria that will form the basis for further discussion.
In the coming weeks, the working group will prepare an overall description of models and design criteria, so that a presentation can be presented to the steering committee at the end of March.
