Week 46 - Ongoing information about the analysis of the study administration

In this week’s news, get an update on the status of the management interviews.

Status of the mapping track

This week, Carve has started interviewing the managers responsible for study administration tasks. This will involve almost 30 managers from the faculties and the Central Administration. The interviews will be conducted in weeks 46–48. They will be held physically wherever possible, but some will also be held online. The management interviews are a central contribution to the more extensive overview of SDU’s study administration, contributing with, not least, the challenges encountered and possible improvements that can be made.

Status of the vision track

In week 47, a meeting with the working group will be held, in which Carve will participate, and work will continue on the formulation of a more general vision for what SDU’s study administration should be able to do in 3–5 years.

The vision is based on changes happening at the University in relation to political reforms (e.g. regionalisation, new admissions system), economic changes (e.g. increased focus on further and continuing education), socio-demographic shifts (e.g. decreasing youth cohorts) and new technologies (e.g. new study information system).
