SciVal allows you to visualise research performance, compare SDU with relevant peers, identify potential collaborations and partnerships, and analyse research trends. SciVal is based on data from the Scopus database.

Elsevier’s SciVal Metrics Guidebook (see the link on the right-hand side) provides more detailed information about the metrics. SciVal also includes quick guides to help you use the system.

SDU has a licence for selected modules. SDU Analytics has purchased an additional licence for the Trends module, which enables further analysis. This module, along with the other licensed modules, is available to all SDU employees.

SDU Analytics does not provide user support for SciVal. If you need help, you can contact the SciVal Support Centre directly in the system via the question mark icon in the top right-hand corner.
