The necessary level of emergency response is continuously assessed based on reported incidents and other relevant factors.
In the case of ongoing acts of rampage incidents (e.g. school shootings), the guidelines for acts of rampage incidents are followed. See link to the right. In this context, it is important that employees relate to and communicate the guidelines in a way that does not create unnecessary fear in others.
