As teaching and meeting rooms are often used by users who do not have a permanent connection to the area, all rooms have a notice with safety information.
The security information contains:
- Overview map showing the location of emergency equipment, including safety points.
- Maximum no. of people in the room
- Alarm instructions
- Access to the nearest escape route
- Notification type
- Regulations
The reason for this concept is that it is not always possible to instruct users and to ensure appropriate behaviour when using the premises.
Lecturers at SDU are expected to support the joint emergency procedure.
A guide for lecturers has been created. The guide provides information on what lecturers are expected to have familiarised themselves with before, during and after an accident or incident.
