SDU HR Working Environment & Development and SDU Moves set focus on light physical exercise in the workday. Exercise is good for all of us – employees, organisations and society – but it only works if you actually do exercise, so how do you get started?

The research unit Physical Activity and Health in Working Life has produced a series of videos introducing the concept of Intelligent Exercise. Here, you will find instructions on the best and most effective training exercises with a special focus on employees who have sedentary work.

With Intelligent Exercise, you get a package of easily accessible exercises that increase job satisfaction and combat the annoying aches and pains that can occur when you are sitting for too long. These exercises not only relieve but also prevent pain, so we recommend starting now! You can do them at any time, and you don’t even need to change into workout clothes.

Get started by visiting the SDU Moves website, where you will find videos with instructions on how to perform the exercises, as well as some brand new clips explaining why Intelligent Exercise is so great. Not only is it smart, but it’s also backed up by science!
