Senior Bonus
Senior bonus for monthly salaried earners who turn at least 62 in 2022.
Circular of 20 December 2021 on senior bonus with effect from 1 April 2022 (Medst.nr. 051-21).
Through the state's payroll system, SDU has implemented an ongoing calculation of 0.8 per cent of the fixed foreseeable salary for monthly employees who reach the age of 62 in 2022.
The ongoing accrual is summarized to fixed field on paycheck each month. It was first visible on the paycheck at the end of January 2022.
The bonus will be paid out automatically for everyone in January 2023.
If the employee resigns before then, the earned amount will automatically be paid in cash upon resignation after deduction of A-tax and AM contribution.
The employee can choose to convert the amount into pension contributions or to hold 2 senior days, which the employee must decide on no later than 1 October 2022.
SDU HR will return in the spring with how such requests from employees are presented through Oracle HCM (SDU HR system) or otherwise.
