Simplifying tenure track processes
In future, the Tenure Track Committee will not be involved in SDU's tenure track programme.
SDU’s tenure track programme is relevant to attracting talent to SDU, and it is important to have efficient processes concerning recruitment, the course of the programme and the transition to associate professorship. Until now, SDU’s Tenure Track Committee has been involved in connection with the posting and filling of tenure track positions. The Committee has also participated in a consultation process regarding follow-up and evaluation of the tenure track process.
Following requests for simplification from several quarters, the Executive Board has decided to modify SDU’s tenure track programme so that going forward, the process will primarily be handled by the departments and faculties. Consequently, the Tenure Track Committee has been dissolved. The Tenure Track Committee, the Central Liaison Committee and the University Council have all agreed to the simplifications.
