The Research Academy is designed based on the Just in Time principle. We know from research that new knowledge and tools must be immediately transferrable to the assistant professors' and associate professors' daily research work if we are to succeed in implemen)ng the new knowledge
and tools in practice. To succeed with the Just in Time principle, we move away from classic continuing education with several days of teaching from 8 am to 4 pm, and work both asynchronously and synchronously.

The asynchronous approach consists of a series of learning videos that are made available to participants on a digital platform. Here, participants can access the material whenever it suits them, and a given topic is relevant.

The synchronous work takes place in the form of everyday-implementation meetings in groups of 3-4 researchers facilitated by implementation consultants. At the monthly 1.5-hour implementa)on meetings, the theoretical content from learning videos is integrated into the researchers' everyday practice.
