Technical Services is responsible for the setup, operation, control and maintenance of security cameras at SDU. The purpose of installing security cameras is to increase the safety and security of students, staff and other users of the buildings. Technical Services always makes a specific assessment before installing cameras and visible signage in monitored areas.
New project to install security cameras in publicly accessible walkways on Campus Odense
SDU is in the process of installing security cameras in publicly accessible walkways on Campus Odense, as part of its efforts to protect critical research and enhance general safety and security at the university.
The cameras have been installed to monitor relevant Central Administration areas and access routes.
