Education Law in SDU Education handles cases concerning suspected exam irregularities in exams held at SDU.
As part of the restructuring of the programme administration (OSU), it has been decided that the entire process for handling cases of exam irregularities will be gathered in Education Law.
What does this mean for you?
If you are a head of studies or programme manager, you must contact Education Law directly when starting an exam irregularity case. You are also welcome to contact the team for advice and guidance before starting a potential case.
It is no longer necessary to involve administrative staff at the faculty or campus in connection with the initiation of the case.
Reporting of cases
Please note that both the guidelines and procedure description are still under development and therefore not available online.
This means that in all cases you must contact Education Law to receive the relevant materials and guidance for the specific case.

Information meeting on 10 June
Education Law is organising an information meeting on how to handle cases of exam irregularities.
At the meeting we will:
- inform about the new reporting procedure
- present current trends in the field, including the increased use of unauthorised artificial intelligence
The meeting will be held on campus in Odense with the possibility of online participation via Teams.
All heads of studies have received an invitation via their work email
Background to the meeting
The restructuring of the programme administration (OSU) has included the university's handling of cases of exam irregularities.
