Worth knowing about this year’s admission

Agreements on standby places and uniTEST

On 1 February, optagelse.dk opened for applications to the country’s bachelor programmes commencing in autumn 2023.
Prior to this year’s admissions, adjustments have been made which were agreed at meetings between the faculties and the University management in January.
For this year’s intake of students, there will be significantly more programmes offering standby places. For the programmes offering standby places (excluding Medicine, Psychology and Clinical Biomechanics), applicants who are offered a standby place will also be admitted on 28 July with the other qualified applicants. It will be displayed on the pages of the programmes at sdu.dk if standby places are to be offered.

For this year’s intake of students, it has also been possible to increase the number of places on selected master’s programmes, in which qualified applicants have previously had to be rejected. This also applies to selected programmes which are designed with regard to foreign students or the rate of unemployment.

Quota 2 & uniTEST

uniTEST is physically back at SDU’s campuses and will be held on the weekend of 15 and 16 April.
For international applicants, reasons of illness and applicants to long-term stays abroad, there will be a limited opportunity to take the uniTest online, which will be held in the week after the physical test. As part of the quota 2 intake, selected programmes at SDU will also carry out individual subject-specific activities, which are an extension of uniTEST.
