About well-being

Thriving Together is back

Help create well-being at SDU

By SDU Education, , 10/9/2024

It’s that time again! Thriving Together returns on 8 November 2024, and this is your opportunity to participate in SDU’s common well-being event, which was initiated after the Study Environment Survey 2023.

A space for both students and staff

The event was held for the first time on 31 October last year, and it focused on the importance of communities. It was a space where both students and staff from across the University to come together and discuss well-being. This year, we’re building on that success with the theme ‘Shameful (un)well-being’.

Speakers Christian Hjortkjær and Ditte Roth Hulgaard will explore how shame can affect our well-being and how mental distress develops – especially among young people. This is a unique opportunity to gain new perspectives on well-being and contribute to the conversation on how we can create a healthier and more supportive environment across the University.

See you on 8 November!

Take part in the discussion and make a difference for yourself, students and colleagues. Join Thriving Together and be a part of the solution.
