Do you know a student who deserves an award?
Now you can nominate a student for one of SDU’s two new Annual Celebration Awards.
n January, SDU’s management decided to introduce two awards for students – a Study Environment Award for initiatives that strengthen the study environment, and an Academic Award, which is based on the final master’s thesis.
The awards will be presented for the first time at the Annual Celebration in October 2025 and are meant to highlight that students’ academic and social engagement is essential to SDU and deserves broad recognition across the organization.
The winners of the two awards will stand as representatives of the many talented, dedicated, and ambitious students who deserve to be celebrated.
You can nominate a winner
Both students and staff can nominate candidates for the Study Environment Award, and you can nominate either an individual student or a group of students. If you are supervising a thesis, you also have the opportunity to nominate it for the Academic Award.
The winner of the Study Environment Award will receive up to DKK 5,000 per student and DKK 50,000 to continue working on initiatives that strengthen the study environment.
The winner of the SDU's Master's Thesis Award will receive DKK 25,000.
