Learning from cross-faculty talent programmes
Here are the considerations for future interdisciplinary work and talent development
The Executive Board has decided that its funding for cross-faculty talent programmes will expire with the programmes already decided.
At the same time, it was decided that the Council for Education would be made responsible for working on alternative options for future interdisciplinary work.
In 2020, an interdisciplinary evaluation of the talent programmes completed at that time concluded that the cross-faculty talent programmes contain a number of perspectives that cannot necessarily be achieved through regular teaching and which could be advantageously more closely to SDU’s strategy.
Against this background, the Council for Education is working on a revision of SDU’s principles and guidelines in this area. They will be posted on SDUnet in due course.
