Team Educational Quality and Development

Team Educational Quality and Development supports the faculty's programmes from the launch of new programmes to ongoing quality assurance, data management, and further development of existing programmes.

The team handles the allocation and follow-up of the faculty's educational finances in close collaboration with departments, TEK Economy, and the faculty's management. Tasks include budgeting, continuous updates of expected educational revenues, and assessments of the finances of new programmes and educational initiatives.

The team supports the pedagogical and didactic development of the faculty's programmes based on the faculty's pedagogical principles. The team offers courses, workshops, and sparring for educators. Additionally, the team supports pedagogical development projects, the use of digital learning technologies, and e-learning across SDU.
Furthermore, the team has overall responsibility for coordinating the start of studies for the faculty's programmes in close collaboration with study boards, programme management, SDU's student guidance, and other administrative units.

The team contributes to ensuring that the faculty's programmes meet requirements for quality, relevance, and coherence for students, educators, and stakeholders alike.

What can the team support with?

  • Accreditation, launch, and prequalification of new programmes
  • Coordinating follow-ups on evaluations and surveys in the educational field and supporting the follow-up on programmes' development
  • Educational finances, including taximeter, budgets, and financial frameworks for the programmes
  • Preparing decision-making foundations and data analyses for management and departments
  • Supporting digital development and automation of processes and work with AI in educational administration
  • Sparring and conducting courses and workshops on the pedagogical and didactic planning of teaching and learning processes
  • Supporting pedagogical and didactic development projects
  • Sparring on the use of e-learning and digital learning technologies
  • Advising on exam formats and assessment
  • Sparring on first-year pedagogy and pedagogical approaches to support the transition to university studies
  • Coordinating and developing study start across the faculty's programmes
  • Supporting initiatives that promote well-being and retention among students
  • Coaching PhD students with a focus on well-being, progression, and completion
