Public Lending Right
If you have published or been a co-publisher (author, translator, illustrator, composer) of a work that is available at Danish public libraries, school libraries, or on eReolen, you can receive compensation under the Public Lending Right (PLR) scheme.
How to do it:
- Register for the PLR scheme with the Danish Agency for Culture and Palaces.

Important to Note:
There is no guarantee that you will receive royalties or library payments each year. This depends on how frequently your works are used at educational institutions, how usage is reported, and — in the case of library royalties — how often your works are borrowed.
However, if you are not registered in the schemes, you cannot receive any royalties at all.
