Setting Up a Report Without a Template
If you have not used SDU’s template to set up
your report, please pay attention to the following:
- Minimum margin is 2 cm on all four sides of your printed matter.
- Page numbers are placed either centred at the bottom
of the page or alternately left and right.
As for fonts, we recommend using Times New Roman in minimum
font size 10 for your content and Arial for headings.
We only print PDF files, so please remember to convert your file into a PDF before sending it for printing. If you have created your file in PowerPoint, simply select the ‘Save as Adobe PDF’, if you have that option.

Presenting your research in PowerPoint is available, and we offer a host of SDU master pages and different screen formats.
An official SDU presentation with data has already been set up in PowerPoint. Its editable format allows you to select what you would like to include.
Photos from study environments, research environments, SDU’s campuses and icons created especially for SDU can be retrieved directly from the blue ‘T’ icon in the Office applications. If you use a Mac computer, you may not have the blue "T" icon, if that is the case you can access images and icons here.
Colourbox is a large image archive that SDU has purchased access to.
All employees can gain full access. SDU pays a fixed subscription
+ a fee per download. Colourbox has a detailed FAQ on how to
use their images.
When buying Stock Photos, please note that SDU's image style is
"anti-stock" and strives for simple motifs, authentic situations
and as few set up, edited situations as possible.

If you need new business cards with SDU’s logo, or other printing jobs, they can be ordered from the Graphic Center here.
The business card is generated based on your contact details in SDU’s system, but you can edit it and add a photo. You cannot change the design, including adding more lines etc. as the design is locked in relation to SDU’s brand platform.
Remember that your email signature with the SDU logo contains important contact details about you for the benefit of the recipient. It is your electronic business card. If it is not inserted automatically for new emails and replies/forwards, please find instructions from SDU IT.
If you want to adjust and update your SDU profile, you can find help at SDU IT.
Graphic Center is happy to help with setting up your Call for Papers, ads for social media or roll-up panels. To order graphic work, please complete the order form on this page.
In Graphic Center´s webshop you can merge name tags yourself in a SDU template.
SDU uses the registration system Conference Manager, a browser-based
application that helps you create and manage events at SDU.
Among other things, the system can handle registrations and payments
