Internal mail - letters and packages

Internal mail applies to all SDU campuses and affiliated institutions.

Do you need to send internal mail you must clearly specify the following:

  • Name
  • Department/Institute
  • City

Below, you can see the applicable rules for each location.

Remember

Sensitive personal data must not be sent via circulation envelopes.

If packages requiring a receipt cannot be delivered, they will be returned to the Post for later collection.

External mail - letters and packages

Forwarding and freight handling

Technical Service assists with both dispatch and receipt of shipments that do not meet the requirements for standard shipments. 

For example, this may include:

  • monitoring of shipments and delivery reliability,
  • special transport (including cooling, dry ice, fragile goods, and larger units)
  • and urgent deliveries.

It is important that Technical Service is informed of all shipments via email 8888@sdu.dk.

Technical Service also advises and guides on customs documents. Contact 8888@sdu.dk for questions regarding shipments.

 

Submission deadline for courier shipments

Monday-Thursday

The package must be ready for collection in your local mailroom by 10:00 AM or delivered to the Post at Service and Logistics no later than 12:00 PM.

Friday

The package must be ready for collection in your local mailroom by 10:00 AM or delivered to the Post at Service and Logistics no later than 11:00 AM.

You will find the Post at Service and Logistics in the basement under Bøgene.
