In accordance with SDU's Strategy 2020, the Faculty of Humanities' goal for the internationalization of the faculty's degree programmes is that all students in their 5-year programme at the faculty must either have a stay abroad or an international dimension in their studies at SDU (Internationalization at Home).
The aim is to make students more attractive in the labor market by developing their linguistic and intercultural competences as well as their international outlook. In continuation of this, the aim is to attract a similar number of foreign students.
Specifically, the 2020 strategy stipulates that the number of outgoing students in 2020 must be 50% higher than it was in 2013.

SDU's Education Council has adopted some Guidelines for strategy and organisation when entering into exchange agreements.
In these guidelines, you can see which overall strategy applies and which bodies are responsible for the different parts of the internationalisation work, as well as the obligations of the faculty and SDU International.
