Study Board for Natural Scientific IT Programmes

The responsibilities of the study board are:

  • to ensure and develop the quality of degree programmes and teaching, including following up on programme and teaching evaluations.
  • to approve new programme regulations and amendments to existing programme regulations.
  • to approve plans for the organisation of teaching, examinations, and other forms of assessment that form part of the final exam.
  • to process applications for credit transfer, including pre-approval, and for dispensations.
  • to provide statements within its respective area on all matters of significance for education and teaching.
  • to discuss issues relating to education and teaching as presented by the Rector.

The study board is supported by a number of teaching committees representing the academic environments within the department. Their role is to ensure close involvement of students and teaching staff in relation to the study boards’ responsibilities. The teaching committees do not deal with individual cases.
