Will you be joining us? Registration for Movement Day 2026 is now open
Set aside a couple of hours of your day for physical activity, community and fun activities with your colleagues. On Thursday 8 October, SDU Moves is once again inviting all staff to Movement Day at SDU.
On Thursday 8 October 2026 from 12.00 to 14.00, there will be plenty of opportunities to add a little more movement to your working day together with colleagues from across the University.
For the seventh year in a row, SDU Moves invites all employees to Movement Day - an afternoon of fun and inclusive activities that everyone can join, regardless of fitness level or experience.
The day is also an opportunity to meet colleagues across departments, professional groups and functions and strengthen the sense of community through movement.
- At SDU, we know how important movement is for well-being, a sense of community and job satisfaction. Movement Day is a great opportunity to meet colleagues from across the University and enjoy an active break during the working day. I hope many people will want to take part, says Dean Jakob Grauslund.
The programme is almost finalised, and you can already sign up for the activities you would like to try.
There is something for everyone - whether you would like to unwind with yoga, get your heart rate up with circuit training or try your hand at Tai Chi Chuan.
