Schedule of evaluations

The study board draws up a schedule of evaluations that clarifies how all teaching is evaluated.

The schedule of evaluations is an internal working document for the study board with the purpose of:

• Providing an overview of how all courses are evaluated over several years
• Ensuring systematic planning of evaluations
• Distributing written evaluations in a way that supports quality and development
• Clarifying the recommendation of an oral mid-term evaluation for each course run

The framework for the schedule of evaluations is that a course must be evaluated in writing:

• on every fourth course run of all courses.  
• when a new lecturer is added to a course with three or fewer lecturers
• when a course is assigned a new course leader
• if the study board, head of studies or the faculty management so requests. This may, for example, be the case if significant challenges were identified in the most recent follow-up to the teaching evaluation

For all course runs, it is recommended that the lecturer and/or the course leader carry out:

• an alignment of expectations at the beginning of the course
• an oral mid-term evaluation with the students
