Status of the restructuring, continuous updates

Collaboration agreements are taking shape

The collaboration agreements are a key tool in the transition phase. They are intended to clarify tasks, responsibilities and interfaces so that the collaboration between the study administrations of the faculties and SDU Education works in practice.

By Stinne Hørup Hansen, Deputy Director of Studies, 1/15/2026

Right now, we are in the process of negotiating cooperation agreements for Student Services and Student Counselling. As previously mentioned, student counselling and well-being counselling and academic guidance will be combined into a single Student Counselling Service under Student Services in SDU Education to create coherence and a clear framework for the guidance of students.

The agreements are prepared in dialogue with the faculties. Rikke Winther Revsholm, head of section for Student Services, is discussing the content with the heads of programmes, and the goal is to be ready with approved agreements by the end of January.

For Student Services and Student Counselling, the process will be longer than the transition period in the first quarter. The collaboration agreement is being drawn up based on a period that will last until the summer, when the academic framework for the department will be consolidated and Tine Andersen will take over as the new team leader for Student Counselling on 15 January. We want to leave room for the new team leader to set the direction and ensure time for the necessary discussions on the interfaces with the faculties.

To be approved in KFU

In early February, the collaboration agreements will be approved by the Coordinating Forum for Study Administration (KFU). KFU is passed by the faculties' heads of programme administration, with me as chair, and will ensure that the cooperation and coordination between Central Administration and the faculties is efficient and smooth.

Survey on the way

In early 2026, SDU will conduct a survey among all lecturers and heads of programme about the perceived quality of programme administration. The questionnaire will be sent out in week 4 and will take 5-15 minutes to complete (the range is due to the open-ended questions in the survey). The answers are treated anonymously.

See news about the survey on SDUnet here .
