The Festival of Research
The Festival of Research is an annually recurring nationwide event that offers a glimpse into the world of researchers and shows how research shapes our daily lives. Due to COVID-19, the Festival of Research will take place online this year.
What can you look forward to?
From the 23rd to the 29th of April, we offer lots of online activities for
both kids and adults: Watch a large number of SDU's most prominent
researchers discussing corona in our ‘Corona – 1 year later’ event together
with TV2 News journalist Gertrud Højlund. Join us behind the scenes for
live tours in our drone hangar at HCA Airport and at the Department of
Forensic Medicine at Winsløvparken.
Young kids can play our new online game about sustainability and research, and if you want to immerse yourself, we offer both SDU Talks, where you get to meet the researchers live, and our Ny Viden Podcast, which allows you to delve into a current research topic at your leisure.
We also invite you inside SDU's cookery show, where our researchers will present some of the mouth-watering, climate-friendly dishes of the future.
If you’re into Sci-Fi, don’t miss our live talk show featuring science fiction guru Jakob Stegelmann, who will be joined by physicist and SDU alumnus Andreas Alberg-Fløjborg for a nerdy talk about Sci-Fi and science.
