The drinking water in Jerne Nord - which includes SDU in Esbjerg - can once again be drunk without first having to be boiled. The authorities have cancelled the boiling recommendation on Thursday afternoon.
Drinking water from the taps at SDU in Esbjerg has been foul all week due to a warning about contaminated water in Jerne Nord, but now you can once again consume the water without boiling it first.
On Thursday afternoon, the authorities lifted the boil recommendation, according to DIN Forsyning's website.
If you haven't used any water at all in the last few days, you should let the tap run for ten minutes before using the water for the first time. After that, you can start using the water as normal, the update says.
