The agreement is under negotiation. The current agreement is valid until December 31st 2025.
During the transition period for the upcoming Wiley agreement (2026-2029), researchers should choose to publish their article behind a paywall.
After the beginning of February, the corresponding author will be offered the option to have the article published as Open Access under the agreement retroactively, if their publication is included in the agreement.
Wiley will contact the corresponding author directly to confirm Open Access and select a CC license on the Wiley Author Services Dashboard once the license agreement is fully activated in all systems.
Discount
Free Open Access publishing for authors in selected journals.
Maximum number of articles included in the agreement
There is a national limit to the number of articles that can be published annually through this agreement.
It is the publication’s acceptance date that determines whether it is affected by the cap. The article must therefore be accepted by the publisher before the cap is reached to be included in the agreement.
