Library courses

In addition to teaching information searching skills, the library offers a number of courses in different study skills and study supporting tools.

Every semester, library staff is ready with teaching and workshops on literature and information search. In addition, we regularly offer courses (primarily) for students in:
• Writing assignments and theses writing
• Reference management, e.g. Endnote
• Study techniques
• Searches in subject-specific databases.

Our courses can be found at www.sdu.dk/en/bibliotek/kurser-og-events - please share the link with your students.

"We have a quite flexible approach to our many teaching activities. This means, among other things, that we offer courses at the library as a study support service for the students, also, we during the semester often show up and teach in the classroom, where information search, either in general or in specific databases, is required," says Jens Dam, Head Consultant of the Department for Teaching and Dissemination, University Library of Southern Denmark.

You are always welcome to contact your contact librarian if you want to hear more about which courses and workshops the library
